Every summer, Victory Dance celebrates the incredible artistry and diversity of NYC dance with performances specifically curated for young audiences.

Featuring a cross-section of highly accomplished and internationally recognized New York-based companies, Program A (performance information here) and Program B (performance information here) offers a full summer of dance at The Duke on 42nd Street (just down the block from the New Vic) for only $10 per ticket!

Part of the theater's initiative to provide daytime dance performances and dance education to City-run summer schools, subsidized day camps and social service agencies, Victory Dance reaches more than 3,500 NYC kids every year.

Victory Dance is supported, in part, by the Jerome Robbins Foundation, Howard Gilman Foundation, Jody and John Arnhold, public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and the Harkness Foundation for Dance.

About Victory Dance

While the New Victory lobbies undergo an exciting renovation, these summer performances move down the block to The Duke on 42nd Street. Enjoy a celebration of New York City dance from the intimate setting of this black-box theater.

Your Trip to Our Theaters

Just steps from the Times Square-42nd Street subway stops, The New Victory is a 499-seat, historic, jewel box theater restored to its original glory. The majority of our shows are presented here, in the oldest operating theater in New York City. Down in the lobby you'll find stroller parking, free lockers to store your stuff, healthy snacks and New Vic merch to take home. View a seating chart for this venue, or take a 360° virtual tour!

Located inside the New 42nd Street Studios building, The Duke on 42nd Street is home to New Victory programming that requires a more intimate space. Seating varies per production.

Located just down the block from The New Victory Theater, the New 42nd Street Studios host New Vic shows geared towards our youngest audience members. The space allows for a variety of seating configurations, including options for floor seating, making it easy to move around and step out of the theater area if you and yours need to do so. Stroller parking and changing tables are available.
