Punk rock collides with centuries of Irish dance as Tapeire takes The New Victory stage by storm. James Devine, the Guinness Book of World Records’ “Fastest Dancer in the World,” clocks in at an astounding 38 taps per second to create a whole new kind of theatrical experience.
Honoring past traditions, but blasting them feet-first into the 21st century, Tapeire is pure entertainment. Teaming up with a motley crew of mind-blowing musicians, Devine infuses Celtic rhythms with fiddle and electric harp and funk in an exhilarating hip-hop and funk jam session that celebrates the past, present and future of Irish dance...
