John and Lyndie Wright founded The Little Angel Theatre over 40 years ago. Throughout the years, the theater has established itself as the main stage for puppetry in Britain, and is widely respected throughout the world for creating puppet productions for a wide-range of audiences. Their productions feature an extensive array of puppet styles such as, glove and rod puppets, shadow puppets and marionettes, many of which are built in their workshop. The Company draws its themes, stories and styles of puppetry from many different countries and cultural traditions to provide a fun and diverse theater experience.
Artistic Director, Steve Tiplady, directed The Mouse Queen, and Ben Glass composed the original score with a Yiddish folk music influence. Musicians, actor/singers, puppeteers and of course, puppets work together to present this delightful adaptation of Aesop's classic fables.
