New Victory opens new worlds to kids and families through extraordinary performances, education and engagement programs
This summer, New 42 was recognized along with New York State arts organizations Alvin Ailey, Reel Works and LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts at the 110th First Lady’s Luncheon at The Congressional Club Museum and Foundation in Washington, DC. I was proud to represent New 42 and the incredible work my colleagues do bringing extraordinary performing arts to the youngest New Yorkers. Every year, New Victory provides more kids with more live performing arts in more grades than any other arts organization in New York City. Invite us into your classrooms, gather digital content, or schedule a field trip to the historic New Victory Theater to see theater, dance, music, circus, opera and puppetry from across the country and around the world.
The mission of the New Victory, making theater and performance part of kids' lives, is the best example I can think of, of the power of a simple idea.
