We have benefited immensely from the Teaching Artist workshops and the innovative performances at the New Victory. They have informed my manner of teaching—and sometimes, led to a detour in the curriculum—and have had a transformative effect on my students.” Michele, PS 138 Brooklyn “New Victory Theater is a very special source of learning and fun for Lexington’s deaf students. Where else could you find a high caliber theater experience that includes pre and post workshops and a School Tool resource guide for teachers, while at the same time accommodating the unique needs of deaf and special needs children? Only at New Victory.” David, Lexington School for the Deaf “The performance we saw at the New Victory could not be replicated in a school setting, and yet it was such an enriching experience. It should also be noted that a lot of our students would not be able to see a performance such as this with their families due to social/economic restrictions.” New Victory Partner, PS 174 Queens Teacher Resources Access Resource Guides, info on Classroom Workshops, Safety Guidelines and travel tips Professional Development Participate in creative professional development and learn new ways to activate your classroom Classroom Workshops Deepen students’ understanding of the art forms and themes on stage with free Classroom Workshops
