Covid-19 Safety Guidelines New Victory is following New York State, New York City and CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of all actors, production staff, theater employees, and audience members. As we continue to monitor and follow the guidance and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and NY State Department of Health, we will update our practices as circumstances and guidelines change. Updated as of: 2.27.23 Public Performance Entry Protocols Masks are Strongly Encouraged Mask use is recommended in public indoor settings. Wear a mask with the best fit, protection and comfort for you. Vaccination Recommended The CDC recommends COVID-19 primary series vaccines for everyone ages 6 months and older, and COVID-19 boosters for everyone ages 5 years and older, if eligible. If you or a family member is experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms, please stay home and contact New Victory Ticket Services at 646.223.3010 to reschedule your performance. New Victory Staff & Performers New Victory staff and performers will be fully vaccinated and will wear masks except when on stage. Cleaning & Sanitation Procedures The theater, including the auditorium, seats, armrests, railings, door knobs and other high-touch surfaces, will be cleaned and sanitized prior to each performance. Theater bathrooms are ventilated and equipped with touchless toilets, sinks and soap dispensers. Air hand dryers will be disabled. Touchless hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the building. Enhanced Ventilation & Air Filtration We have upgraded our air filtration system with MERV-13 filters. The air in the auditorium will be fully replaced after every performance. Theater Spaces & Social Distancing Performances Most productions will be performed without an intermission to avoid crowding in common spaces. Lobbies and Common Spaces Guests should try to maintain social distance whenever possible in our lobbies, auditorium and restrooms as directed by signs and New Victory staff. Elevator capacities will be clearly posted. Concessions A selection of pre-packaged light snacks and beverages will be available in the New Victory Cafe. Stroller Parking and Lockers Space for stroller parking will be provided, as well as free lockers to store your belongings, but we ask that large bags or backpacks be left at home. All bags are subject to inspection. Ticketing Policies & Procedures Contactless Ticketing We strongly encourage you to purchase tickets online and in advance. All tickets, including those purchased at the box office, will be delivered electronically. Mobile tickets will be available in your New Victory account 24 hours before your performance. If you do not have access to a mobile device or a printer, you may request hard tickets from the box office when you arrive at the theater. All tickets will be scanned via a touch-free scanning device. Flexible Ticket Exchanges & Refunds If you or a family member are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms on the day of your performance, please stay home and contact New Victory Ticket Services to reschedule.
