Covid-19 Safety Guidelines You come first at New Victory! Read on to review policies that protect the health and safety of our family audiences, artists and staff. As we continue to monitor and follow the guidance and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and NY State Department of Health, we will update our practices as circumstances and guidelines change. Updated as of: 5.27.22 Public Performance Entry Requirements Everyone Must be Masked Masks are required for everyone and must be worn at all times, completely covering the nose and mouth. Full Vaccination for Everyone 12 and Up Full vaccination means you’ve received either a one-dose or two-dose Covid‑19 vaccine (approved by the FDA or WHO) and your final dose is at least 14 days before your New Victory performance. Accepted forms of proof: a physical vaccination card, unobstructed photo of your card or digital documentation (Excelsior Pass Plus, Docket, etc.), plus a matching government or school-issued ID, if over 18. Vaccination or Negative Test for Kids Under 12 Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult who meets our full vaccination and ID requirements and must provide one of the following: • Proof of full vaccination • A date and time-stamped negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of your performance start time • A date and time-stamped negative Covid-19 antigen test taken within 24 hours of your performance start time There are several testing sites in the Times Square area, including NY Forward, or search for a testing site near you. (Cost and insurance acceptance may vary, please check with each provider for details.) . If you are unable to meet these requirements, you can still enjoy all shows in the 2021-22 New Victory Season. Each show will be available to stream on demand during its run. Please visit Tickets & Events for details. New Victory Staff & Performers All New Victory staff will be fully vaccinated and will wear masks at all times. Performers will also be fully vaccinated and will wear masks except when on stage. Theater Spaces & Social Distancing Performances All productions will be performed without an intermission to avoid crowding in common spaces. Lobbies and Common Spaces Guests must maintain social distance at all times in our lobbies, auditorium and restrooms as directed by signs and New Victory staff. Elevator capacities will be clearly posted. To create a low-touch lobby space, pre- and post-show family activities will be available online. Concessions and Merchandise The New Victory Shop and Cafe will both be closed until further notice. Water will be available. Stroller Parking and Lockers Space for stroller parking will be provided, as well as free lockers to store your belongings, but we ask that large bags or backpacks be left at home. All bags are subject to inspection. Enhanced Ventilation & Air Filtration We have upgraded our air filtration system with MERV-13 filters. The air in the auditorium will be fully replaced after every performance. Cleaning & Sanitation Procedures The theater, including the auditorium, seats, armrests, railings, door knobs and other high-touch surfaces, will be cleaned and sanitized prior to each performance. New Victory bathrooms are ventilated and equipped with touchless toilets, sinks and soap dispensers. Air hand dryers will be disabled. Touchless hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the building. Ticketing Policies & Procedures Contactless Ticketing We strongly encourage you to purchase tickets online and in advance. All tickets, including those purchased at the box office, will be delivered electronically. Mobile tickets will be available in your New Victory account 24 hours before your performance. If you do not have access to a mobile device or a printer, you may request hard tickets from the box office when you arrive at the theater. All tickets will be scanned via a touch-free scanning device. Flexible Ticket Exchanges & Refunds If you can’t attend your scheduled performance for health reasons, you can exchange your tickets or request a refund up to one (1) hour before your performance time. If a performance is canceled, you will have the option to reschedule, see another show or receive a refund. Before Your Visit If you or a family member has been recently exposed to Covid-19 or is experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms, please stay home and contact New Victory Ticket Services at 646.223.3010 to reschedule your performance.
