School Show Policies

School Partnership Agreements

As the primary Partnership contact for an organization, School Liaisons acknowledge:

  • I will disseminate information about Partnership policies and procedures to educators and administrators at my organization and will contact Education_Tickets@NewVictory.org to add colleagues so they may directly engage with Partnership resources.
  • I understand that it may take up to two weeks (10 business days) for my application to be processed and approved. I will not be able to book tickets or access resources until I receive a welcome email.
  • My school/program will be allotted a MAXIMUM ticket allowance for the New Victory Education season. Tickets are subject to availability and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Due to the capacity of the New Victory Theater, Education Partners are allowed a maximum of 165 tickets per performance (some performances may have smaller maximum capacities).
  • I will not repost exclusive Partnership content on public platforms, and I will discourage other educators in my school/organization from doing so.
  • I will respond to surveys collecting participation statistics and program feedback.
  • There are no guarantees for tickets to specific performances or shows. Tickets for New Victory Partner Schools are subject to availability and often sell out quickly.
  • I agree to comply and enforce with my students/campers and other staff all New Victory field trip and workshop guidelines.
  • If our organization has special circumstances that conflict with these policies, we will contact the New Victory Education Department as soon as possible to discuss our needs.

Tickets and Admission

  • For all school-time performances, a ratio of 1 chaperone per 10 students is enforced. This includes all adults attending the performance.
  • No physical tickets are issued and all seating is at the discretion of management.
  • The Partnership must be set up and paid in full before an organization has access to ticketing privileges and other Partnership benefits.

Ticket Allowance Guide

  • New Victory Education School-Year Partners who enroll and submit their Partnership fee BEFORE September 30 can book up to 400 tickets across the season and a maximum of 165 tickets per performance date; as always, these quantity restrictions are not a guarantee of inventory.
  • Both School Liaisons and Contact Teachers will have access to booking tickets. We encourage educators to coordinate how best to share the ticket allowance with your site.
  • Ticket allowances are initially calculated when your enrollment application is submitted and the Partnership fee is paid. However, ticket allowances are not secured until you initiate your first ticket order.
  • In order to maintain the highest possible ticket allowance level, Education Partners should register and begin ordering within the first ticket window, Ticket Allowance Window 1. If you have not initiated your first ticket order by the end of your original ticketing period, your maximum allowance will decrease to the quantity of the next window.
  • Ticket allowances represent the maximum number of tickets a school/organization can book, however, tickets are still subject to availability and tend to sell out quickly. Note that ticket window dates are subject to change.
    • Window 1: By September 30 Partners receive a ticket allowance of 400 tickets.
    • Window 2: October 1 – December 31 Partners receive a ticket allowance of 300 tickets.
    • Window 3: January 1 – End of Season Partners receive a ticket allowance of 250 tickets.
  • After-School Partners and Homeschool Groups receive a ticket allowance of 250 tickets regardless of ticket window.
  • For optimal ordering across all Partners, these ticket allowances must be used within the ticket window in order for your school/organization to secure the full allowance for the season.

School Ticket Payments

  • For school ticket orders, balances should be paid no later than the date of your reservation.
  • If paying at the door, please do so at the box office prior to the start of the performance.
  • Late arrivals will have to contact the Education Department to pay any outstanding balance.
  • Any outstanding balance must be paid in order to book tickets or renew your partnership.
  • You can submit payment via card, check or purchase order in advance or via cash, card or check in person.

The maximum number of students we can work with in a single workshop is 35. Schools/organizations should not combine classes when booking workshops. Please book multiple workshops if you have more than one class participating.

Any changes should be communicated at least 10 BUSINESS DAYS prior to the workshop date.

School Show Cancellation

If any performance is canceled, you will have the option to reschedule, see another show or receive a refund.

Health and Safety

Stay up to Date with Respiratory Virus Vaccines

Patrons are encouraged, but not required, to remain up to date on their vaccines, based on their eligibility as determined by the CDC. Staying up to date on vaccines for respiratory viral illnesses, including Covid-19, influenza and RSV, significantly lowers the risk of getting very sick.

Practice Good Hygiene

Keep yourself safe and be courteous to others by washing and sanitizing your hands and covering coughs and sneezes.

Reschedule and Rest

If you or a family member is not feeling well, please stay home and contact Ticket Services at 646.223.3010 as soon as you can to learn more about your options.

Masks Are Welcomed

Wearing a mask can help lower the risk of respiratory virus transmission.
