Play Time!
"We always get to the theater early to take advantage of the pre-show activities."
—Elaine B., New Victory Patron
Ahead of every performance, New Victory Teaching Artists and New 42 Youth Corps members guide your family in free, interactive arts activities.
We create original activities for each production that set the scene for the story and art forms on stage. Get started with a New Victory Arts Break, available online anytime. These do-try-this-at-home activities invite you to flex your creativity and stretch your imagination.
Once it's showtime, arrive early downstairs for in-person engagement. These hands-on games and art-making typically take around 20 minutes and can get crowded as curtain time approaches. Doors open 45 minutes ahead of time.
Self-guided activities are also available post-show for 20 minutes! And don’t forget to return to the Arts Break for perfect post-show prompts.
