About New Victory Dance
Swing into summer with New Victory Dance, the annual mini-festival of NYC dance curated specifically for kids! MCed by New Victory Teaching Artists, each program showcases a diverse lineup of acclaimed NYC-based dance companies—three per program, nine in total—and features a choreographer Talk-Back with a chance to dance from your seat. It's your family date with dance!

Through ballet, contemporary dance, and African and Dunham techniques, Una Kaya examines the courage it takes to move forward, claim space and trust your capacity to grow against adversity.
Trisha Brown Dance Company
Rogues
Genre: Postmodern
Rogues is a study in rhythm, timing and how we pass movement to one another. Set to an original score by Alvin Curran, the duet reflects Trisha Brown's exploration of simple gestures and pedestrian movements as dance.
Umami Playground Dance Inc.
Playground (Excerpt)

Playground explores breaking free from the limitations people place on themselves as they grow older. It encourages everyone to let go of judgment and simply play in the "Playground" like children.

About the Companies
Ballet Hispánico presents BH2
A beacon of artistic excellence for over fifty years, Ballet Hispánico New York is the leading American Latino dance company. BH2 is Ballet Hispánico's second company, comprised of select pre-professional dancers from the Professional Studies Program. Guided by Artistic Director & CEO Eduardo Vilaro, under the direction of Blanca Huertas and acclaimed faculty, these emerging artists embody the next generation of dance. BH2 expands Ballet Hispánico's reach while offering audiences a glimpse of the future of dance.
Trisha Brown Dance Company
Founded in 1970, the Trisha Brown Dance Company is dedicated to the performance and preservation of the work of Trisha Brown. Expanding the physical behaviors that qualified as dance, she discovered the extraordinary in the everyday and brought tasks, rulegames, natural movement and improvisation into choreography.
Umami Playground Dance Inc.
Umami Playground values play, exploration, making mistakes and growth. With dancers from diverse cultural backgrounds and training across styles ranging from street and club dances such as house, popping and breaking to contemporary dance, Umami Playground brings everyday perspectives into its work.
