Our Mid-Sized Venue: The Duke on 42nd Street

Located inside the New 42nd Street Studios building, The Duke on 42nd Street is home to New Victory programming that requires a more intimate space. Both of the one-man shows in the 2012-13 season will play here.

 

ACCESSIBILITY


This venue is accessible for wheelchairs via the main entrance with elevator service to the second floor.


Wheelchair seating is available online or via Ticket Services. For more information, please call 646.223.3010.


Assistive listening devices are available. Please speak to a House Manager when you arrive at the theater.


Sign-interpreted performances are available via Hands On for most productions. Please visit the Calendar to review those dates or visit HandsOn.org


AMENITIES


Men's and Women's restrooms are located on the same floor as the theater. Step stools for younger guests are provided.


Water fountains are also located on the second floor.


Healthy snacks are available for purchase with cash at Concessions before the show. However, no food or drink except bottled water is allowed inside the theater.


Merchandise inspired by our productions is available for purchase with cash before and after the show.


Stroller parking is provided free of charge.

1, 2, 3, 7, N, R and Q trains are accessible via elevator at the southeast corner of Seventh Avenue and 42nd Street.

A, C and E trains are accessible via elevator inside the north wing of the Port Authority bus terminal (Eighth Avenue between 41st Street and 42nd Street).

By Bus
The M7, M20, M34A, M42 and M104 buses all stop within one block of the theater.

By Car
While there is no street parking on 42nd Street, there are many garages within walking distance.

Nearby lots include Icon Parking at 249 W 43rd or 350 W 42nd, and Edison Parking at 307 W 44th.
