About the Show

Oh. My. Pigeon. It’s #1 bestselling, lunch doodling, Caldecott Honor and Emmy Award-winning author Mo Willems, live on the New Victory stage! Fresh from sold-out shindigs at San Francisco Sketchfest, The Mo & Co. Show draws fans of Mo's beloved children's book characters—"bestus" pals Elephant and Piggie, Knuffle Bunny and more—into a rowdy hour of riffing and reading. With kids' music superstar Kate Micucci on ukulele, and author and muse Cher Willems manning the projections, Mo performs a handful of classic stories, guided in true improv fashion by conversations with the audience. Wiggle, giggle and guffaw at this silly storytime celebration that's never performed quite the same way twice.

"Willems knows how to connect with kids."

About the Artists

Mo Willems is the author and illustrator of over 50 New York Times bestselling books and many others that have not sold as well (his words, not ours!). Awards include multiple Caldecott Honors, Geisel Medals and Emmys. The most produced playwright for young audiences in the nation, Mo has written or co-written musicals, short operas and symphonic works based on his books that have been performed around the world. He began his career drawing Snoopys for his classmates!

Cher Willems is a producer and ceramicist whose voice acting can be heard in numerous award-winning animated short films based on Mo Willems' books. Cher began her career as a television commercial producer and currently chairs the board of The Hidden Pigeon Company. Her first cookbook, WE REALLY LIKE COOKING SLOP!, is available wherever books about cooking slop are sold.

Kate Micucci is an actress, comedian and musician known for her acting roles on Scrubs, The Big Bang Theory, Steven Universe and as Velma Dinkley in Scooby Doo. She is one half of the musical comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates and recently released her first book, The Monster and Puppet Show, as part of the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award–winning early reader series Elephant & Piggie Like Reading!
