About the Show

What’s Cookin’? The explosive percussion show that sliced, diced and banged its way across the globe is back at the New Victory! Working against the clock to prepare a wedding feast, four zany chefs make a manic menu of nonstop, high-speed action that whips up into an all-you-can-eat frenzy of martial arts and Korean samulnori drumming. Every utensil (yes, even the kitchen sink!) becomes an ingredient in a recipe for havoc and heart-pounding rhythms so irresistible, you’ll be ready for a second hilarious helping!

Content Note: Some scenes contain loud music, drumming, sudden loud noises and flashing lights.

Skillful, high-energy, silly good fun

The New York Times

The show on stage is just one act of your family’s visit! Come early and stay after for free pre- & post-show activities and kid-friendly amenities—part of the New Victory Experience.

Did You Know?

  1. Yes, that is real food on stage! If you’re seated in the first few rows of the orchestra, look out for surprise snacks flying your way.
  2. Don’t try this at home. The plate-throwing, fruit-juggling, knife-wielding, fire-breathing performers of Cookin’ are all professionals with years of practice and safety training.
  3. Happy 25th Anniversary, Cookin’! As the longest-running show in South Korean history, Cookin’ has been performing and touring internationally since 1997, including a run at the New Victory in 2003.

About the Company

Three years into Cookin’s skyrocketing success, PMC Production Co. opened their own theater—South Korea’s first-ever venue dedicated to a single show. They now operate three exclusive theaters in South Korea and another in Bangkok, Thailand. There’s even a Cookin’-themed hotel! Together with their producing partner, Broadway Asia, they’ve toured Cookin’  to 57 countries around the world, delighting over 12 million people and decimating over a million vegetables along the way.
